It is no wonder that her opera “Talestri” is about Amazons! Maria Antonia herself sang the title role in the premiere at Nymphenburg Castle. Maria Antonia was a member of the Academia dell’Arcadia of Rome, and aware of the strength of its founder, Queen Christina of Sweden.
