NewLogo-300x155That Lake Superior Chamber Orchestra has an exciting summer season of concerts planned is no surprise – after all, their tagline is: “Performing diverse music for chamber orchestra.”  That diversity is represented in creative and innovative programming that shares with their audiences works that are not typically heard.

The LSCO, which is now in it’s 29th season, was established to provide high quality concerts in the summer months.  Under the direction of Warren Friesen the ensemble has thrived and drawn a wide and diverse audience from in and around the Duluth, MN area.  We at WPA are proud that the LSCO was a recipient of a 2014 Performance Grant.

Their 2015 concert season begins this week and includes the works of many historic and contemporary women.
