Feminist Theory and Music 10

I am thrilled and energized after attending and returning from my first Feminist Theory and Music Conference!  This year’s conference, the tenth, was held at the University of North Carolina, Greensboro and was full of great papers, enthralling conversations and exciting concerts.  (You can access the full program for the conference at the link above.)


Though I’ve had several weeks to process and expand on all of the ideas shared, I find that I’m still not quite able to adequately formulate my thoughts into prose.  Lucky for those of you who were not able to attend the conference, Sabrina Young, composer and writer, has just shared her thoughts on two of the main concert events.  Her thoughts are linked below:
